    Big Draw, Little Draw
    Fri 6 & Sat 7 Apr

    The Big Draw is back with costumed models striking different poses and easels, boards, drawing materials and paper provided for free. Just turn up and draw! Plenty of Little Draw opportunities too, for little artists. The Makers' Month Big Draw, Little Draw is organised by the Norwich 20 Group of artists, which includes painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, installation, digital and conceptual artists. On Friday 6 April there will be a special evening Big Draw session, between 5-7pm, with models in evening dress. Artists may dress casually! 

    Drawing with Artpocket
    Fri 6 & Sat 7 Apr

    Join Artpocket tutors for a fun session of drawing but not as you know it! Each activity explores techniques to make your mark, discover new ways of looking and experiment with a range of materials. If you think you can’t draw then this is for you. With Artpocket's guidance and short tasks gain confidence and rekindle your love of drawing. Artpocket is an organisation which delivers a diverse programme of accredited and leisure courses in all areas of art, design and craft from their studios in Norwich.

    Embroidery Skills with the Embroiderers' Guild
    Tue 3 to Sat 7 Apr

    Whether you're a complete novice or an expert textile practitioner, spend some time with the Embroiderers' Guild and learn something new. Norfolk members are exhibiting, giving demonstrations and teaching for five days at Makers' Month. Drop in for open access sewing sessions for young people, who can contribute to the world's longest embroidery.

    Norfolk County Council runs a wide variety of creative adult learning courses. Have a taster today and using pencil, colour and paint to record something about your day as a mini sketch book or journal.  All materials provided.
