Petal and Purl
Mon 19 to Sun 25 Mar
Petal and Purl is a new crafting group from the village of Caston, in Norfolk, who are working towards an extravagant knitting festival in their village in 2019. They're at Makers' Month for seven days, not only to provide free demonstrations and activities, but also to recruit new members to help with their big plans. Take a seat and have a go at making flowers, bunting and food from knitted squares.

Embroidery with Sew Creative
Mon 19 & Tue 20 Mar
Sew Creative run shops and workshops in Norwich and Cambridge. Join them to have a go at simple free motion embroidery. Select a picture and recreate it with fabric and stitching. No experience necessary.

Chinese Brush Writing

Find out what Anteros has to offer by joining them at Makers' Month and trying your hand at a variety of skills. Anteros Foundation, in Norwich, specialises in short courses in fine art skills, particularly drawing, painting and sculpture. Anteros Arts Foundation is a charity for the promotion of the arts in Norfolk.

Felt Making with Pathways College

Students from Pathways College invite you to have a go at making felt. Pathways is a complex needs sixth form, on the site of the Hewett Academy in Norwich. The students have been given a crash course in felt making by ERM CIC, the local creative community interest company behind the exhibition A History of Wool in Norwich.
