    Treehouse Festival Taster                                              Treehouse Festival will be rescheduled due to the bad weather forecast for today. But we have lots of family friendly activities in the warm Atrium.

    Join the team behind the Treehouse Festival to explore traditional crafting skills, such as green woodworking, carpentry and whittling. You can also meet a working swordsmith and explore eco building techniques. Come and meet the Festival team, see local craftspeople at work, taste the homemade dahls and find out about the 2018 festival. 


    Print to the People 
    Sat 17 & Sun 18 Mar

    Meet expert tutors from Print to the People, an artist led, social enterprise based in Norwich and dedicated to the production and promotion of traditional printmaking processes. The team are at Makers Month answering your questions about all things print and demonstrating various printmaking techniques. 


    Watercolour with Gill Starkie 
    Fri 16 & Sat 17 Mar

    Join Norfolk artist Gill Starkie to learn how to paint using watercolours. Gill loves the freedom of watercolour painting and enjoys being inspired by Norfolk's skies, beaches and seascapes. She describes herself as a 'mobile artist' and likes to encourage others to carry a pad and small watercolour set when exploring.

    Norfolk Quilters
    Mon 12 to Sun 18 Mar

    Take a seat with the Norfolk Quilters and let them show you how to make a small piece of patchwork. You can take this away with you or donate it to be sewn into a quilt to raise money for charity. If you have already embarked on a quilting project and have hit a snag, bring your work in and speak to the experts.

    Norwich Sugarcraft Association

    Take your cake decoration to a new level, with the help of the Norwich Sugarcraft Association from the British Sugarcraft Guild. There'll be plenty of inspiration for Easter as well as information about how to get involved in the Association's regular meetings and charity work.

    Norwich Fashion Week Fringe

    The first week of Makers’ Month coincides with the Norwich Fashion Week Fringe. Six days of events across the city highlighting the creativity and diversity of fashion and style in Norwich.
