    Norfolk Quilters

    Mon 12 to Sun 18 Mar

    Take a seat with the Norfolk Quilters and let them show you how to make a small piece of patchwork. You can take this away with you or donate it to be sewn into a quilt to raise money for charity. If you have already embarked on a quilting project and have hit a snag, bring your work in and speak to the experts.

    Making Space for Yourself 
    Mon 12 & Tue 13 Mar

    Creative activity is good for you. It's official. It can lower stress levels, reduce blood pressure and promote feelings of calm and wellbeing. Join staff from Norwich Cathedral who have suggestions on other ways in which you can make time for yourself. Enjoy a hand massage or have a go at finger labyrinth relaxation.

    Make a Mandala
    Mon 12, Wed 14, Sat 24, Sun 25 Mar (10am-1pm)

    Sit around the table with crochet artist Kally, from Woollenwood, and make a mandala. It doesn’t matter if you are just learning or a crochet enthusiast. This is all about contributing to a collection of mandalas which will form a display at next year’s makers’ event at The Forum.

    Postcards for Peace
    Mon 12 to Wed 14 Mar & 1 to 5 Apr

    Postcards for Peace is a project helping displaced people living in Norfolk feel welcome in their new home. Local artists, school children and other participants have made postcards depicting either a message of welcome or significant life experience. View the work they've created and make a postcard yourself, using textiles, photography, clay, paint or pencil. All materials and guidance provided for free.     Craft Bank Tree of Life 
    Mon 12 to Sun 18 Mar

    Help create an inspiring tree of life by adding a decorated leaf, representing a positive memory or personal achievement. Craft Bank is a Norwich based organisation that encourages people with learning disabilities or mental health issues to explore the benefits of getting involved in art and craft activities.

    White Ribbon with Leeway 
    Mon 12, Thu 15 & Wed 21 Mar

    Take a seat and help decorate a white ribbon with the help of professional artists, plus staff and volunteers from Leeway, a local charity which helps people experiencing domestic abuse. The White Ribbon campaign is an annual event which raises awareness of the issues around domestic abuse. Three opportunities during Makers' Month to get involved and show your support. Everyone welcome. 

    Norwich Fashion Week Fringe 
    Mon 12 to Sun 18 Mar

    The first week of Makers’ Month coincides with the Norwich Fashion Week Fringe. Six days of events across the city highlighting the creativity and diversity of fashion and style in Norwich.
