Cocoon Commissioned by The Forum for Makers’ Month, Woollenwood’s Kally Davidson has created a wool-based walk-in installation. Showcased in our Gallery, the work has been developed freely without the restraints of a definite plan and uses natural colours and shapes.
Capability Brown Embroideries A selection of embroidered wall hangings inspired by the work of Capability Brown, the 18th century landscape architect, are on show near the entrance to The Gallery. They were created by members of the Embroiderers’ Guild to mark the 300th anniversary of Brown’s birth in 2016.
All free craft and making activities during Makers Month are on a first come first served basis. Bookable Taster Workshops and talks are highlighted.
