If you are holding an outdoor event where you need to attract public interest and participation from local people and city visitors, then these outdoor spaces offer a myriad of opportunity.

They are a meeting place and thoroughfare for visitors to The Forum and other Norwich landmarks, including those which immediately surround The Forum: Chapelfield Shopping Centre, Norwich Theatre Royal, Norwich City Hall, Norwich Market and St Peter Mancroft, the largest of the Norwich churches.

Safe and welcoming they also provide a mini slice of European style and culture with the local Norwich community and city visitors mingling to drink coffee alfresco and enjoy the atmosphere, entertainment and activities that abound.

In the past these spces have provided a stage for opera, theatre, an ice rink, a circus with tightrope walkers overhead and an outdoor exhibition of art.  They have also hosted family activities, organisations wanting to raise awareness and performers from local schools and community groups.
