THE FORUM TRUST PRESENTS

Lunchbox

Mon 21 Jul - Thu 14 Aug

Millennium Plain will be buzzing every weekday lunchtime to some of the best street entertainment provided by performers from across the UK and abroad. Take time out from the office or laze away a few hours over lunchtime and enjoy the sights, sounds and silliness in our bite-size entertainment series. Packed into our lunchbox this year will be everything from street art to skiffle, circus to samba - something to suit all tastes!

Week 3 Line Up

Mon 4 Aug
Bigger - Jon Hicks
Jon Hicks returns to The Forum with a new show set to satisfy any appetite. Painting, drawing, sculpting and origami are all on the menu, finished off with his legendary finale!

Tue 5 Aug
The Twelve Tasks of Hercules
Lunchbox favourites, Jones and Barnard will perform their new show featuring incredible feats of strength, cuddly toy carnage and the best sword fight since 600BC.

Wed 6 Aug
The Invisible Men
Combining playful assaults and loony-tunes style violence, The Invisible Men present their new act. Set entirely to music and sound effects without a spoken word, the show crossbreeds comedy, audience participation and genuine visual trickery.

Thu 7 Aug
The Half Naked Chef
Steve 'Woko' Jackson, a spoof Australian TV cook, gives a culinary demonstration that would make Delia Smith's hair stand on end! A non-stop send-up of every cooking show that has ever been.

Fri 8 Aug
Bagas Degol
Join Bagas Degol during your lunch break to enjoy their distinctive and stirring sound, delivered with a powerful raw edge. Drawing on folk and dance traditions from Cornwall and across Europe, combining bagpipes, clarinet, tabor drum and percussion.
