Another bunch of blossoming comedic talent take to the stage at The Forum as the first Comedy Store of spring ushers in plenty of laughter this week.

Russell Kane’s meteoric rise up the comedy ladder is largely due to his turbo-charged, unhinged, self-loathing, dribbling and lethally twisted brand of humour that goes straight for the jugular. A breathless, raging, feral act to sit back and enjoy!

Ex-Southend goalkeeper, Terry Alderton is one of comedy’s best-kept secrets. His astounding act is a riot of exuberant, loose-limbed physical comedy, extraordinary caricatures and acute impressions. He combines stand-up with film and TV with appearances in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and ITV’s London’s Burning.

Jeff Innocent doesn’t as first glance look like a man who makes his living making people laugh. He’s rather tall, very bald and if you met him on a dark night in a secluded alley you might be a little bit frightened. Don’t be fooled by appearances, behind his sharp-suited hard man exterior is a very very funny man who’s observation-based act is one of the finest in the business.

Johnny Vaughan’s replacement on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast, Paul Tonkinson won 1997’s ‘Time Out Stand Up Comic of the Year. With a polished line in mimicry and consistently funny improvisations, Paul is a headliner across the globe and a TV regular.
