The main Millennium Library is on the first and second floors inside The Forum, Millennium Plain.

Sundays

2.30pm-3.45pm – Discover Sundays
Stories and activities for three -11 year olds every Sunday; different theme each week.
Children attending the sessions receive a voucher for a free drink and biscuit at Cafe Bar Marzano in the Forum
Under eights must be accompanied by an adult at all times. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­  

Mondays

12.30pm-2.30pm – Community Learning Champions
If you’d like advice about learning opportunities here in the city do drop into the Express area of the library for an informal chat with a volunteer who can help point you in the right direction.

Tuesdays

2.15pm-4.15pm – Board Games Afternoon
Relax, make new friends and enjoy a game such as Scrabble, Chess, Draughts, Monopoly, cards and other favourites at our free drop-in Board Games afternoons.

Ask an Archive Specialist
Free evening sessions with an archive specialist on a first-come first-served basis. Get the help you need to further your research and explore the resources in the Norfolk Heritage Centre.

Talk to an expert and find a strategy to grow your business. A different theme each week including planning, promotion, finance and ideas.

6pm – Forgotten Gems
A group rediscovering forgotten authors, talking about what makes a book a classic and why some books, popular in their day, fade from memory.
New members welcome to some come along and join the discussion.

Heritage Hour
Lunchtime talks related to local and family history alternate with 'Ask an Archive Specialist' research clinics.

Thursdays

2pm-4pm – Knit and Knatter
5pm - 7pm Evening Knit and Knatter
If you are a knitter, or other crafter, come along to this social event and crafting session.  We meet on the 1st Floor of the library and you can share your skills, learn some new stitches or just chat with other crafty people while you knit.  It's free and everyone is welcome (no unaccompanied children)
Browse our large collection of knitting and needlework books, all available to borrow for free.

Oxford Reading Tree - Helping Your Child To Read

Read six books in the holidays, and have fun collecting stickers and trading cards. Join in the children’s library
