With tiered seating for 120, The Curve is Norwich ’s only purpose-built auditorium combining state-of-the-art, full high definition technology and flexible presentation, performance and screening opportunities.
The Curve is available to hire and generous rates are on offer to not-for-profit organisations
Designed by technical, acoustic and lighting specialists, The Curve features:
- A Full high definition projection system providing 144 inches of the best image quality available today
- High quality sound system with multiple broadcast quality microphones
- Adaptable lighting and ambience featuring state of the art LED technology
- A desk top visualiser (the very latest advance in overhead projection, this is a powerful camera which allows you to clearly display 3D objects, documents, acetates and even microscopic images in outstanding clarity) A lectern with full high definition presentation PC and Blu-Ray DVD playback
- Confidence monitors placed in front of presenters allowing them to view what’s on the main projection screen without facing away from the audience
- A floor level stage measuring 6m wide and 3m deep
- The Curve also offers a greener way to bring people together from anywhere in the world using real time, multiple-screen video and teleconferencing facilities and web streaming features.
Hospitality in The Curve
Outside the auditorium, the self-contained lobby area is ideal for hospitality, with in-built plasma screens, a cloakroom and catering facilities. There is also a small green room, a quiet place for performers and presenters to relax or rehearse.
The Curve is accessible by stairs and lift.
