Archive films from the GPO Film Unit including Night Mail (1939) - featuring words by W H Auden and music by Benjamin Britten, Thirty Million Letters (1963) and Way To The Sea (1936). "Night Mail (1936) was one of the most critically acclaimed films to be produced within the British documentary film movement. It was also among the most commercially successful, and remains the film most commonly identified with the movement." - BFI
