The story of King Street in Norwich has always been one of changing fortunes. This diverse history is reflected in its patchwork of domestic, commercial, industrial and historic buildings which line the ancient routes of river and road. The King Street Community Voices oral history and archive project, at Dragon Hall, has successfully recorded some of the stories and memories of the people who lived and worked in the area over the past century.
This event showcases some of the project’s fascinating content reflecting everyday life on the street and the changing nature of the King Street communities.
