Built around the spectacular photography of Earth from the Air, Earth Event was a 2 month long showcase for local and national organisations at the forefront of the campaign against climate change. A host of fun and informative activities took place as part of themed exhibitions, which included:

Our Earth, Our Wildlife - looking after the natural environment, sponsored by RSPB.
Junk Wise - getting savy with recycling reducing our waste, sponsored by the Institute of Food Research.
Green Wheels - alternative, more environmentally friendly forms of transport, sponsored by CRed.
Go Green! - discovering how families can help combat climate change, sponsored by the John Innes Centre.
The Alternative Energy Exhibition - advice for business and domestic users on green energy sources, sponsored by Barclays and the Energy Saving Trust.
