The Forum is run by an independent charitable trust called The Forum Trust. Our 'project purpose' emphasises education, learning, creativity, opportunities for all and celebrating the region's history and culture. Click on the link to read more about this and about our community partnerships, our research and development projects and the building's history.
An important aspect of our 'project purpose' is to help people gain access to learning and personal development opportunties. Inside The Forum you will find the offices of MINT, a charity which helps young people gain the skills and contacts they need to find employment. MINT is run by City College, Norwich, a long term partner of The Forum.
Many of the free events and activities that go on inside The Forum are designed to help people understand and use digital technology, which is why we are delighted to work closely with BBC Voices. Voices provides filmmaking and radio editing workshops to individuals, groups, businesses, schools and colleges throughout the Eastern region. And it's FREE.
The Forum is a public building - everyone is welcome seven days a week all year round. Enjoy free exhibitions, events, activities, restaurants, shopping and one of the best public libraries you'll find anywhere in the UK!
